God knew what He was doing when He led me to Kristi.
Not only is she a fantastic human, but He put her in my life right before I was about to face a truth I had been hiding from for years. Connecting with Kristi was the first time I didn't feel pitied or misunderstood. Instead, she supported me and equipped me with the tools I would need in the weeks to come. When the time came for me to face the situation I had dreaded, it felt like there was peace waiting for me in the storm rather than shame.
