You aren’t just tired. You're weary.

Life hasn’t gone according to plan

- and you’ve wondered if God hears your prayers or if they’re just bouncing off the ceiling.

Why would God allow this to happen?

Does He even care?

Can I rely on Him?

Is He genuinely faithful??

Oh friend. I get it.

Been there, done that. (I’ve even got the t’shirt and hat)

The enemy wants us to believe that God is distant, uncaring,  and uninterested in the nitty-gritty of our lives

He wants us to question the Lord’s power and faithfulness.

Sure, we know this world will throw us some curveballs (John 16:33), but that doesn’t mean we have to live like we’ve been knocked out or in constant fear.

Whatever you've been through, whatever you're facing, Jesus offers us unshakeable faith, firmly rooted in Him. Isaiah 41:10 tells us, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

When I tell you I get it, I promise I really do.

Our stories are probably different, but if you’ve been hurt or broken, mad at God or ready to give up -
we probably have more in common than you think.

Memorial Day 2016, my world crumbled.

In 2016, life as I knew it fell apart. After decades of struggle, I found herself in the place no one wants to be - estranged from my  family of origin.

Sensing opportunity, the enemy came at me with everything in his arsenal.

What kind of Christian do you think you are? You’re a terrible daughter. A disgrace. This is all your fault. God could never use you after what you’ve done. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I was, actually, ashamed of myself. That, the enemy and I seemed to agree on.

A cloud of depression hung thick. Anger at God boiled just beneath the surface. I turned to alcohol to dull the inescapable pain I was in. I’m not proud of that part of my story, but I know someone else needs to hear it. At my lowest point, I felt the Lord whisper, Come. Rest. I was so broken, so weary, and the moment I took a shaky step toward him in faith, He rescued me.

I’ve learned family is worth fighting for and happy endings don’t always happen the way we imagine they would.

He revealed the lies of the enemy and replaced them with truth.

The Lord gave me the strength to keep going, even though my family of origin was still a mess, with that quiet whisper, Trust Me.

I’ve learned that happy endings don’t always happen the way we imagine they would. There are things about this life that are bigger than we can possibly comprehend, and He’s holding all of it. That’s faith, in a nutshell, and you know, I’m ok with that.

I've learned that even if it doesn’t work out the way we hope, even if we don’t see the healing here on Earth, He is always and forever faithful.

The song, Even If, by Mercy Me became an anthem to me during this season. I sang it at the top of my lungs when I had nothing else to hold on to. It was a prayer, a declaration, a promise.

I believe we all have an “Even If” moment or season that forces us to decide if we’re gonna take God at his word, and trust him when we don’t know what the outcome will be. Out of the messiest, darkest season, the Lord showed me that He remains good, EVEN IF.

If you had told me that I would ever see the other side of that dark season,

much less that I would have a podcast and spend my days writing and speaking about the faithfulness of God, I would have laughed at you.

He is so good, Friend.

So faithful. And it is the honor of my life to share His goodness and mercy through these stories.

Thank you for bringing [House of Miracles] into my life at just the right moment.

"My (...) husband and I were going through a rough spot, and…I can’t help but think that it was a God thing as Lisa and Andrew’s story is almost identical to what my husband and I are dealing with…Hearing their story of renewal of their marriage through faith in the Lord had been the most comforting and inspirational story I have heard throughout this journey…Thank you so very much for what you are doing to be God's light to help others.”

When I initially dipped my toes into the podcasting world, it was the thrill of sharing my friends’ tales that had me hooked.

Little did I know, the real joy would come from hearing how these stories uplift and empower listeners. Now, I keep going because it's become a platform for connection, a beacon of hope, and a source of inspiration for so many out there. It's more than just a hobby; it's a mission to bring Hope to the hurting, one story at a time.

a few fun facts

Y’all, I love to travel.

I get itchy feet if I stay in Lubbock too long. Gimme the beaches, mountains, or anything in between! Have suitcase, will travel!!

My co-workers are kind of loud.

Don't be surprised if you hear yips or mews on the podcast because we are suckers y'all. We've got three rescue animals - Lola and Rufus, our crazy dogs, and Pickles the WonderCat, who thinks she's the boss of all of us (she kind of is).

I count my blessings by the shoreline.

His mercies are new every morning - and there's no better place in this world to witness that blessing than on the shore with my toes in the sand.

Do you ever feel like faith is easy until life gets hard?

Join me on my mission to help others find unshakeable faith during the storms of life.

You can trust in His plan for you, even if it’s not the path you anticipated...Does the tug-of-war between his plan and yours sound familiar? Hey, I understand. You’ve tried to ‘let go and let God’, but the actual ‘letting go’ part remains a struggle.’
